Titel: Medieval coins of three different types and of various states of preservation
Datenautorinnen und Datenautoren: Tauschensky, Anika; Mara, Hubert; Dunker, Thomas; Trostmann, Erik
Zusammenfassung: The dataset contains albedo and normal image and a 3D triangle mesh with additional features (multi scale integral invariants) for the obverse of medieval coins. There are three different types of coins. Within each typ there are many samples of various state of conservation. Numismatists can recognize similarities between samples of one type and differences between samples of different type. We are interested in the development of computer methods, which can measure such similarities and differences based on these digital representations of the coins.
